Joseph Klein was a Brazilian based investment bank.
For this project I used 2 key elements:
the first is a typeface that I’d drawn up and made digital so it was (and remains) completely unique and my sole copyright.
Secondly, I abstracted the watermarking illustrations at the heart of physical money and used those as a form of illustration for the identity.
Having created a complete logo solution, corporate identity and brand creation, sadly, just as we were about to launch it – the financial crash of 2008 occurred and as everyone knows, credit and the duty of banks and other financial companies suddenly had an enormous task on their hands not just to secure credit themselves but also to prove they had capital reserves so, sadly, this project never went any further.
